(ម៉ាឡេស៊ី)៖ លោក អាន់វ៉ា អីប្រាហ៊ីម បានទទួលការហៅទូរស័ព្ទពីប្រធានាធិបតីសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក លោក ដូណាល់ ត្រាំ ដើម្បីពិភាក្សាអំពីជម្លោះកម្ពុជា-ថៃ ផ្ទុះឡើងជាថ្មីដែលមានរយៈពេល ៥ថ្ងៃមកហើយ។

នៅយប់ថ្ងៃទី១២ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥នេះលើតាមរយៈបណ្តាញសង្គមផ្ទាល់ខ្លួន នាយករដ្ឋមន្រ្តីម៉ាឡេស៊ីលោក អាន់វ៉ា បានប្រាប់លោក ត្រាំ អំពីភាពតានតឹងនៅព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃ ដោយពន្យល់ពីតួនាទីរបស់ម៉ាឡេស៊ី ក្នុងការជំរុញប្រទេសទាំងពីរឱ្យបញ្ឈប់ការបាញ់គ្នា ហើយត្រឡប់ទៅតុចរចាវិញ តាមរយៈកិច្ចសន្ទនាក៏ដូចជាយន្តការទ្វេភាគី និងអាស៊ាន។

លោកថា ម៉ាឡេស៊ីនៅតែត្រៀមខ្លួនជាស្រេចដើម្បីជួយដល់កិច្ចខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងដើម្បីសម្រាលស្ថានការណ៍ និងស្ដារស្ថិរភាពក្នុងតំបន់ ស្របតាមស្មារតីនៃអ្នកជិតខាងល្អរបស់អាស៊ាន។

លោក អាន់វ៉ា ក៏មិនបំភ្លេចថ្លែងអំណរគុណផងដែរ ចំពោះការចូលរួមយ៉ាងសកម្មរបស់សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក ជាមួយអាស៊ាន និងទំនុកចិត្តដែលបានផ្តល់ឱ្យម៉ាឡេស៊ី ក្នុងនាមជាប្រធានអាស៊ានឆ្នាំ២០២៥៕

I received a telephone call from the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, during which we discussed the Cambodia–Thailand conflict, bilateral relations, and global issues of mutual concern.

On the tensions along the Cambodia–Thailand border, I outlined Malaysia’s role in urging both countries to exercise restraint and return to dialogue through bilateral channels and ASEAN mechanisms.

Malaysia remains ready to support efforts to de-escalate the situation, protect civilians, and help restore regional stability, in line with ASEAN’s spirit of good neighbourliness.

As ASEAN Chair, Malaysia will convene a Special ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting soon, in a way to assess the situation and support de-escalation measures.

I also conveyed my appreciation for the United States’ active engagement with ASEAN and the confidence placed in Malaysia as Chair of ASEAN 2025.
